Surprises
A modern surprise at the opera house in Rome. I hope to be surprised in a way as lovely as this on Halloween. All I can hope for is a nice surprise.

In the thick-hearted spots of today, I find my tomorrow.
Letting It Go and Missing It All the While
I was asked yesterday if I miss Italy. My immediate “yes” surprised me. Perhaps drinking the last of my Sant Eustachio’s and salad-ing the last of my olive oil really has made a difference.
